“My passion for making things turned a former two car garage into the Hermit Shed. Originally it was home to woodworking equipment including a Powermatic 8” jointer, Powermatic Artisan table saw, drill presses, belt sander and generally the types of things you would expect to find in a cabinet shop.
Gradually I developed an increasingly serious allergy to freshly cut wood and redirected my interest to metalworking. Now the space is packed quite densely with a wide range of things that change the shape of metal.
In 2020 we moved to a 900 sq foot dedicated building with 3 phase power.
In February of 2021 I quit my job to work full time in my shop.”
